Best Pet-Friendly Hotels in NYC
Pets are part of the family.
We understand how tough it is to part ways with them, even if it’s just for a few days. To avoid that trouble, we did the legwork in finding the best pet-friendly hotels around New York City. The next time you travel, your furry friend can enjoy a tiny red carpet (lint roll included), special treats, comfy hotel beds, and even VIP pet areas. We think they deserve as much special treatment as you do.
When exploring NYC, be sure to stroll some of the city’s most beautiful areas–like Central Park–so that your little friend will get to see some of the sights, too. Here are a few hotels that will welcome your pet with open arms–and help you avoid separation anxiety.
The Benjamin is considered one of the top pet-friendly hotels in the country. These guys partnered with BarkBox to offer a box full of treats, and accessories–including a Mungo & Maud water bowl, bed, cookies, and an in-room pet mini bar–all for $60. They also donate $10 per stay to the Animal League, the largest no-kill shelter in America. Your little friend will feel pampered here.
Soho Grand offers pet-dedicated floors of rooms without size or weight restrictions, nor fees. They also can provide bowls, food, and even a crate. However, keep in mind that some parts of the hotel are off-limits to furry guests. Bonus: ask about a surrogate goldfish!
Loews Regency New York
Your feline or canine family member will thank you for bringing them to this hotel. Loews offers bedding, accessories, and special pet room service–including meals prepared by their executive chef. They even have litter boxes and scratchers available! They also offer doggy treats, walk routines in Central Park, pet sitting, and all the special attention our little friends deserve. There is a $50 cleaning fee and a limit of two pets per room.
The Muse Kimpton
The Muse welcomes your pet of any size or weight, as long as you sign a waiver upon checking-in. Bonus: there are zero fees whatsoever! Ask the concierge about arranging for dog walking or sitting.
