New York City Pride 2017

The March and More

While we celebrate Pride the entire month of June, there’s nothing like experiencing the excitement of the Marches across the country. This year, we’re thrilled to highlight some of NYC’s most anticipated events in support of the LGBTQ community.

First and foremost, the Pride March may be one of the most euphoric experiences to happen in New York City and 2017 is shaping up to be one of the biggest celebrations yet. Moreover, 2017 is the first year that a major network will be broadcasting the event: ABC is making history and also live streaming to those outside the Tristate area.

So, on Sunday June 25th at noon, step out on the streets and march to the historic Stonewall Inn with thousands of rainbow-clad supporters. All details on the culmination of a month of Pride-themed events can be found on their site.

Also, for those who want to come face-to-face with the action and want to go beyond the Parade, there’s nothing like a fabulously proud party headlined by Patti LaBelle, Tegan and Sara, and Nelly Furtado. This year’s Pride Island concerts bring everyone from Roisin Murphy to DJ Lina from Friday to Sunday at Hudson River Park. Tickets and info here.

While there’s endless ways to get involved in NY, we encourage you to show your support all over the country. If you’ll find yourself in the city during Pride Weekend, be sure to check out their fun listings including film screenings, youth events, and more: https://www.nycpride.org/events/.
