The Meadows at Citi Fields

September 15-17, 2017

The Meadows brings the greatest names in pop, hip hop, rock, and electronic to Queens in September. The festival isn’t just music-focused–countless of the best rated eateries in NYC will also be setting up shop and even The Infatuation, revered foodie blog, is involved. Here’s what to expect:

The Music Lineup

Are you sitting down? OK, let’s go: Jay-Z, Migos, Blood Orange, M.I.A., Erykah Badu, Sky Ferreira, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more.

The Food Lineup

Enter New York City’s finest foods: Bushwick’s famous Roberta’s pizza, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, DOUGH donuts, Luke’s Lobster, Insa-celebrity Ramen Burger, delicious ice cream by Van Leewen, and more. Is your mouth watering yet? Check the full list of vendors.

Infatuation Village

It’s no secret that Queens is one of the most diverse boroughs in the country. If you haven’t heard, then give this a read. Revered food blog The Infatuation has partnered up with The Meadows to bring festival-goers the chance to experience the REAL flavors that make up the culinary melting pot that is Queens.

Getting There

Citi Field (where the Mets play!) is in Queens, right where Flushing Meadows, the U.S. Open, and that giant globe structure is. It’s a truly amazing location and accessible via bus or the 7 train. Now that you have all the info, it’s time to look at tickets.

Where to Stay

We gave you the festival rundown. Now it’s time to find you a place to stay. On a budget? Looking to spend? Don’t care for Manhattan? There’s so many things to consider and it can make your head spin. Not to worry. We rounded up the best options for you.

The Boro Hotel

Long Island City is a trendy neighborhood in Queens nearby Brooklyn’s Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and a short ride from Manhattan. Boro Hotel represents the new crowd of the LIC area, with design-conscious interiors, light-filled rooms, and simple but convenient accomodations: cafe, library, fitness center, and bars on the roof and lobby. You’ll be staying close to the 7 which takes you to The Meadows but also PS1 MoMA and great restaurants.

The Benjamin

At The Benjamin, you’ll be properly taken care of by folks who really believe in self care: pillow menus, sleep masks, bedtime bites, spa on-site, healthy eats, and natural bath products. As veteran festival-goers ourselves, we love pampering ourselves at the end of the day, too. We also give The Benjamin points for being eco-friendly and extremely well located near Grand Central Station (an incredible sight and convenient place to commute to The Meadows).
